Yakisoba

Yakisoba

Serves: 3 Servings
A quick and healthy meal for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock (broth)
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 2 packages Yakisoba noodles
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 1/2 cup snow peas
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 bell pepper
  • optional cilantro for garnish
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 3/4 cup bean sprouts
Instructions
  1. Cut the onion, pepper and mushrooms into slices.
  2. Slice chicken.
  3. Mix soy sauce, Mirin, teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, chicken stock, and chili garlic sauce to make stir-fry sauce.
  4. Heat the Evo grill to Medium to Medium High.
  5. Stir-fry the onions, peppers, garlic and ginger. After a couple of minutes add snow peas, mushrroms and chicken with a splash of peanut oil. Stir-fry until the chicken is fully cooked, and then add the noodles, sprouts and the sauce.
  6. Toss to incorporate all ingredients and garnish with fresh cilantro and lime.
